What Is Qooley.com?
Before starting, let’s introduce some terminology to streamline our adventure. The test server is at https://www.qooley-frontend-test-2.herokuapp.com/. Enjoy our exposition into the realm of Qooley!
Qooley.com is the place at which artists and customers alike discover spectacular experiences. Our host is Heroku which manages the domain and DNS, and the domain registrar is GoDaddy.
Qooley should be the best experience of them all… that’s the whole point… we bring amazing, inspiring, and impactful experiences to people.
How does the payment and booking acceptance flow work currently? The artist only says yes/no: either way, the website notifies the admin who follows up with the customer about pricing. Qooley’s CORS policy is flexible, the middleware runs in order while all new requests enter, and the website makes OAuth Google Signup fun.
On the main page there are rows of what we might typically find on any webpage. Here we find magicians, musicians or poets. See the signup page; not bad at all!
Contributors and developers are invited! For the activities there are 8 categories and the new local expert selects one of these categories to fit their experience. Qooley provides the immersive experiences, Google provides the fascinating APIs and statistics, local experts manifest themselves in the database, and Firebase conveys data straight from QooleyBiz to Qooley and back to allow access to Qooley.com and app! See QooleyBiz on the App Store! The app handles complex scheduling logic for us, which leads to unexpected experiences. There’s nothing like simulating Expo builds.
